1 L (4 cups) water, for boiling
Salt, to taste
375 ml (1 ½ cups) cold water
500 ml (2 cups) Tops Fine Mabele
Variation:
To cook in the microwave, mix 250ml (1 cup) Tops Mabele and 250ml (1 cup) cold water together in a microwave-safe bowl. Add a pinch of salt. Add 500ml (2 cups) boiling water while stirring continuously. Microwave on High at 100% power for 7-8 minutes. Stir the mixture well after 1 ½ minutes to reduce lumps and thereafter stir another 2-3 times while cooking
Serving Suggestion:
For breakfast, serve with milk/butter and sugar or sweetener to taste. For supper, serve with beef stew.
