Split Peas

Water for rinsing
750 ml (3 cups) water
250 ml (1 cup) Pride split peas
5 ml (1 tsp) salt

  • Rinse and drain split peas; do not soak.
  • Combine water, split peas and salt in a pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes or until soft. Drain any excess water before serving or adding to other dishes.
