This product is a coarse granulated maize meal which will have a white appearance and visible contamination of black speck and fractions of germ and husk. When cooked, the Braaipap will be soft to the palate and have a slightly coarser texture than Super Maize Meal. The viscosity of the product will be reliant on the amount of water used during the cooking process and largely depend on the desired taste of each consumer.
